News in 60 Seconds
For my internship at Voice of America in the fall of 2022, I created video content for the VOA60 News YouTube channel. The videos I created were repurposed by clients who worked in different language service departments, gaining thousands of views.
For each video, I researched major news headlines, collected video footage, wrote captions, and edited the final package in Adobe Premiere.
During my time interning for VOA60, I created around 100 news recap videos.
Documentary
Painting the Town: Best Dressed Signs is a video documentary about business (and life) partners Josh Luke and Meredith Kasabian and their sign painting business Best Dressed Signs. The story examines both artists' personal and professional journeys, as well as their positive impact on communities in Boston.
The documentary was a semester-long group project for a journalism class at Emerson College. I collected photo and video footage, conducted interviews, wrote scripts, and assisted with the editing on Final Cut Pro.
